<p>A process for economically and continuously producing a hydrogenated styrene block copolymer having high heat resistance and high transparency; and a hydrogenated styrene block copolymer suitable for use as an optical molding material. The continuous process for producing a hydrogenated styrene block copolymer comprises the step of stepwise polymerizing a styrene monomer solution, a solution of an anionic polymerization initiator, and a conjugated diene with a piston flow type polymerizer and the step of hydrogenating the copolymer obtained.</p> |
