A five-membered-ring compound represented by the formula or a salt thereof: wherein X represents oxygen or sulfur; R1 represents hydrogen, (un)substitut ed alkyl, etc.; R2 represents hydrogen, (un)substituted alkyl, (un)substituted aryl, etc.; Y1 represents a single bond, (un)substituted alkylene, -CO(CH2)n -, etc.; the wavy line means the (E) or (Z) configuration; R3 represents (un)substituted aryl, etc.; Y2 represents (un)substituted alkylene, etc.; R4 represents hydrogen, (un)substituted alkanoyl, (un)substituted alkyl, etc.; and R5 represents hydrogen, etc. They inhibit infiltration of leukocytes suc h as eosinocytes and lymphocytes, and are hence useful for the treatment of various kinds of inflammation.
