PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet mounting structure which can very easily and accurately mount a faucet in a panel in a normal position. SOLUTION: The panel 30 is provided with a lining board 34 fixed to a rear surface thereof, and a stepped surface 34a formed of an upper end face of the lining board 34 horizontally extends at a height sufficient enough to intersect a faucet mounting hole 32. A faucet mounting bracket 10 has a C- shaped member 14 which has its both ends abut on the stepped surface 34a, and by virtue of this structure, a female screw hole 28 of a base member 12 can face in a vertically downward direction with accuracy. Then, a base-side end of the faucet 60 is fitted into the base member 12, and a screw 62 is screwed into the female screw hole 28 via a screw through hole 64 of the faucet 60. A spout 66 is formed in the same direction as that of the screw through hole 64.
