SOLUTION: The emulsion is characterized in that it is obtained by including a glycol ester compound in an emulsion polymerization of vinyl ester resin emulsion wherein a vinyl alcohol polymer having an ethylene unit of 0.5 mol% >=and 10 mol% <= is a dispersing agent.
