PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device which can be easily operate by a user. SOLUTION: This color image forming device has plural image-forming means, including an image carrier and a developing means for developing an electrostatic charge latent image, corresponding to image data of every color formed on the image carrier, an intermediate transfer body for generating a color toner image for superposing, by successively transferring the toner image of every color formed on the image carrier, a transfer means for transferring the color toner image on the intermediate transfer body on paper, and a fixing means for fixing the color toner image after making transfer on the paper. Then, a scanner part for reading an original is provided at the upper part of a device body, and a paper housing part is arranged on the downside of the scanner part, and further the intermediate transfer body and the image- forming means are arranged on the downside of the paper-housing part.
