<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device with can effectively use light shielded conventionally by a lamp shielding part, without weakening thermal and mechanical strength of the lamp shielding part. SOLUTION: In the light source device which has a lamp 1 having a light- emitting tube part 11 and lamp shielding parts 12 and 18, and a reflecting mirror 2 to reflect light emitted from the light-emitting tube part 11, the lamp shielding part 12 of a side emitting the light is reduced so that the light which is reflected by the reflecting mirror 2 to radiate on a prescribed incidence area 4 may radiate fully, without being shielded by the light-emitting tube part 11.</p> |
