PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for complying with an additional request of a user. SOLUTION: The connecting device for connecting a tube 13 is constituted of a connecting device main body provided with a path 11 with an opening 12 at one end, a sealing means 18 provided at a position 17 away from the opening 12 end of the connecting device main body and performing sealing by being engaged to an outer periphery of the tube 13 and a tube latch device 25 arranged within the connecting device main body. The tube latch device has a first latch 25a engaged automatically to a feature part 27 on the tube 13 when an end part of the tube 13 is sufficiently inserted into the path 11 and is engaged to the sealing means 18 and the end part of the tube 13 is held within the connecting device main body and manually operable second latches 30, 31, 32 arranged at the outside of the connecting device main body engageable to the feature part 27 on the tube 13 when the end of the tube 13 is sufficiently inserted into the connecting device main body.
