PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pier type berthing facilities using steel pipe piles capable of constructing firm berthing facilities by combining only advantages of a steel pipe pile construction method and a steel sheet pile construction method. SOLUTION: One side of steel sheet piles 10, 10a is welded to the outer peripheral face of a number of steel pipe piles 1, 1a forming colums and folded parts 11, 11a are formed at the other side of the steel sheet piles 10, 10a, and these folded parts 11, 11a are continuously connected to each other to form a wall body formed of the steel pipe piles 1, 1a and the steel sheet piles. 10, 10a. Steel pipe fixing plates 12, 12a forming a specified height and width are welded to the lower outer peripheral face of the steel pipe piles 1, 1a in the orthogonal direction to the welded position of the steel sheet piles 10, 10a. The steel pipe piles 1, 1a are driven to the depth where the whole steel pipe fixing plates 12, 12a are buried. Concrete is placed on the upper plate on the steel pipe piles 1, 1a and reinforced steel pipe piles driven over a wide area to form a planar slab.
