PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross copolymer having a polyene in a crosslinkage and improved in crosslinking property and a graft modification property, and to provide an excellent production method of the same. SOLUTION: The production method of the cross copolymer having the polyene is characterized by containing polyene of 3 mol% or more in the copolymer. This copolymer is a olefin-aromatic vinyl compound-diene type cross copolymer which is characterized by obtaining by cross-copolymerizing a olefin- aromatic vinyl compound-diene copolymer which is composed of the aromatic vinyl compound of 0 mol% or more and 96 mol% or less, the diene of 0.0001 mol% or more and 3 mol% or less, and the balance of the olefin, with a polyene and in need, a vinyl compound.
