PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy manufacturing method for a compost of high quality being excellent in safety and fertilizing effect, where fermentation temperature in the deposit becomes high and growth inhibitors decompose rapidly. SOLUTION: The present invention is obtained by mixing a compost material comprising a porous sugar-holding material with the excretion from domestic animals including bedding and then fermenting the mixture to obtain the compost.
