PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse effects on existent piping after piping work even if, for example, thrust unpredictable in the design develops in the existent piping, by effectively receiving the thrust. SOLUTION: With a damping member 23 fitted in a groove 20A in a thrust receiving body 18 and a damping member 24 fitted in a groove 20B in a thrust receiving body 19, both thrust receiving bodies 18 and 19 are placed to circumscribe that portion of existent piping 13 which is near to one side of a vertical wall 12 of concrete, and are united with fastening members 17, after which flange portions 18B and 19B are fastened to the vertical wall 12 of concrete with a plurality of foundations 22. A plurality of push bolts 16A are then tightened evenly strong to cause an internal surface 23B of the damping member 23 and an internal surface 24B of the damping member 24 to press strong on the periphery of the existent piping 13 and thus to receive thrust on the existent piping 13.
