PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary air control valve for an exhaust emission control device, for preventing back flow of exhaust gas by preventing valve leakage by preventing a clearance from being generated between a reed valve composed of a bimetal and a valve seat. SOLUTION: A reed valve 4b is constituted of a bimetal. A contact surface side 4b2 of the reed valve 4b to a valve seat 10a is formed in a surface contact structure, so that the reed valve 4b is closed by the deformation of the bimetal, brought into contact with the valve seat 10a, and closes a supplying passage, when high-temperature exhaust gas is detected. Therefore, even if the positional relationship between the reed valve 4b and the valve seat 10a is deviated slightly, a clearance between the reed valve 4b and the valve seat 10a is avoided from being generated, and the passage can be closed.
