PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a guard to unlock a door in the case of emergency in an apparatus for unlocking a side door or a door of a room according to the finger print collation. SOLUTION: When an intrusion sensor (not shown in Fig.) is operated, this is automatically informed to a security company. The guard quickly goes to the scene with a special key, and opens a switch box by the special key to operate an emergency, switch 13. By the operation, an electric lock 11 of the side door 10 is unlocked. The guard enters the building and arrives at the floor of a room (e.g. room number 3) where intrusion occurs by using an elevator 14. A password number is input from a ten key (not shown in Fig.) of a finger print collator 9, and the finger print is input. (not collated.). Thus, the electric lock 6 of the door of the room 3 is unlocked.
