PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupling for further improving durability of a coupling main body by providing a protective ring so as not to directly abut a lock ring on an inner peripheral inclined surface of a fitting hole of a coupling main body. SOLUTION: This pipe coupling is constituted of the coupling main body, the lock ring (40), a collet (30) and the protective ring (20) and has a structure in which the fitting hole having the conical inner peripheral inclined surface (16) with an entrance side of a small diameter and a deep side of a large diameter is formed, the protective ring (20) is mounted on a large diameter part within the fitting hole, the collet (30) fitted into the fitting hole is provided with an arm part at a tip, an outer peripheral side of the collet (30) is brought into slidable contact with the inner peripheral surface (16), a tip outer periphery of the arm part is abutted on an inner peripheral side of the lock ring (40) and the outer peripheral side of the lock ring (40) is not abutted on the fitting hole if the protective ring (20) is not interposed. |
