PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the face rigidity required for the back side of the seat back of a front seat while aesthetically improving the appearance of the seat back by sufficiently dragging a seat cover of the back side inward. SOLUTION: In the back side 18 of the seat back 10, this seat cover structure has a portal-shape plate 20 adapted along the upper side and the left and right sides of the back side 18 of the seat back 10 is sewn inside the seat cover 16, and the drag power is imparted respectively to the upper part 20a and both left and right sides of the plate 20 in prescribed directions, respectively to give tension to the seat cover 16. The structure for the seat back has also a bracing part 20c built over between left and right side parts 2b of the plate 20 at about the middle in the vertical direction of the back side 18 in the plate 20. This bracing part 20c has a drag means imparting the back side 18 with drag power in the internal direction of the seat back 10.
