PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat sink of stable fin shape through an extruding process even at a high tongs ratio. SOLUTION: When a heat sink 20 provided close-set in a row with a plurality of laminated fins 22 on the substrate 21 is extruded, an extruding die 1 which has a bearing section 11 forming an outer circumferential configuration of the heat sink 20 and a relief hole 13 formed in the exit side of the bearing section 11, and the length (L) of the fin forming section 11b in the bearing section 11 is formed by 0.5 to 7 mm and the wall surface 13b of the fin forming section 11b side of the relief hole 13 is formed in series with the fin forming section 11b with a taper angle (α) in the range of over 0 degree and 3 degrees or less is used.
