<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart rate sensor capable of measuring heart rate during exercise continuously and stably, and a method of calculating the heart rate. SOLUTION: The heart rate sensor is provided with a light source 11 for emitting light to be irradiated over an organism 20, optical sensors 12 and 13 for receiving the light emitted from the light source 11 and passing through the organism 20, and a signal processing part 14 for calculating the heart rate based on the signal according to the received light by the sensors 12 and 13.</p> |
