PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat module with ventilating actively, which is made for a seat cushion or a backrest. SOLUTION: The seat module is provided with a pad 12 which has a basic layer 20 without air permeability and a ventilated upholstered zone 21 which extends over the basic layer 20, and a pad carrier 13 which supports the pad, and is covered with an outer pad 14 with air permeability. The ventilated upholstered zone is designed to have a three-layered structure, or a sandwich structure which consists of two rubberized animal hair layers 23, 24 and a knit fabric layer 25 which is found between the rubberized animal hair layers and is made of a space of a coarse knit fabric, so that the quality of the module can be improved in comfortableness of sitting and long-term stability at a lower cost for manufacturing.
