PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply liquid from a fixed primary liquid tank to a secondary liquid tank that moves with a liquid discharge head without deteriorating quality of image. SOLUTION: A liquid supply device is equipped with the secondary liquid tank 16 for storing liquid to be supplied to the liquid discharge head 11 equipped with a spout for discharging liquid, the primary liquid tank 18 for storing liquid to be supplied to the secondary liquid tank 16, liquid supply means 19, 38 for supplying liquid in the primary liquid tank 18 to the secondary liquid tank 16, tank inside pressure detectors 29-36 for detecting the pressure in the secondary liquid tank 16 and covering it into electric signals, and a controller 19 which controls the motions of the means 19, 38 according to the electric signals which respond to the pressure in the secondary liquid tank 16 detected by the tank inside pressure detectors 29-36. |
