PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article fitted with good-looking gathers excellent in feeling of wear and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the disposable wearing article includes the first process for guiding a plurality of elastic bodies 73 between belt-like sheets 2 and 3 supplied continuously while extending and curving the elastic bodies 73 and the second process for integrally joining the sheets 2 and 3 and the elastic bodies 73 for the purpose of continuously manufacturing the developed part of the disposable wearing article. The main point of the manufacturing method is as follows: the elastic bodies 73 guided between the sheets 2 and 3 can be curved so as to maintain an approximately regular interval between the adjacent elastic bodies 73 in the first process.
