PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head, wherewith ink leakage and variation of ink jetting property can be reduced by properly applying an adhesive to a plurality of thin plates of liquid chambers. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head 1 is made through the following procedure. When a liquid chamber 16 fomed of thin plates such as of a pressure liquid chamber plate 5, a liquid chamber passage plate 6, a common liquid chamber plate 7 and a nozzle plate 8, is made by sticking a thin plate on another thin plate by applying the adhesive 20, the thin plate to be applied adhesive is fitted on a plate having protuberances whose shape and size correspond to respective holes made in each thin plate such as a pressure liquid chamber 11, a common chamber 12 to charge liquid, a channel 13 to pass liquid and a communication passage 15, etc., and then the adhesive 20 is applied on the thin plate. A thin plate not applied adhesive is stuck on the thin plate applied adhesive. Thus adhesive can be applied uniformly on the thin plate, and sealings among those thin plates are improved, and risk of ink leakage and/or varying of jetting property of the head 1 can be reduced.
