PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer receiving sheet which enables attainment of a clear image when used for a thermal dye transfer printer and which produces print curls very little and is excellent in the adhesion between a sheetlike substrate constituted mainly of cellulose pulp and an image receiving layer. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer receiving sheet has a constitution wherein a laminate layer constituted mainly of a polyethylene having a number-average molecular weight of 3,000,000 or more is formed on one surface of the sheetlike substrate constituted mainly of the cellulose pulp and the image receiving layer containing a dyeing resin as a main constituent is formed on the laminate layer. |
