PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the wheel size of a sterilizing and deodorizing apparatus by decreasing the number of ozone generators used. SOLUTION: This sterilizing and deodorizing apparatus is provided with a first passage 9, with both ends opened, a first fan 12 and an ozone generator 11 disposed in the first passage 9, a second passage 10 having one end connected to the first passage 9 and the other end opened, and a second fan 13 and a filter 14 disposed in the second passage 10. The sterilizing and deodorizing apparatus is capable of switching between a using method of filling the interior of a room with ozone to sterilize and deodorize the interior of the room and a using method of sterilizing and deodorizing the interior of the room without emitting ozone in the room by pressure loss of the filter 14 and switching between the first fan 12 and the second fan 13. Only one ozone generator is required although two using methods can be executed, so that the number of parts can be decreased and the whole size of the apparatus can be reduced. |
