METHOD FOR OUTPUTTING FUEL EFFICIENCY OF VEHICLE AND DISPLAY DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A fuel efficiency output method of a vehicle and a display apparatus are provided to travel safely and to reduce fuel consumption by reducing idling with measuring, outputting and real-time displaying the fuel efficiency in traveling the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A fuel efficiency display device is composed of a vehicle kind selecting unit(1) inputting coefficients according to the kind of the vehicle; a vehicle speed/ fuel consumption detecting unit(2) detecting a signal from a vehicle speed sensor, and detecting signals from a fuel injection valve, an air consumption amount sensor pr a MAP(Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor to measure the fuel consumption ratio; a control unit(3) operating the fuel efficiency from the vehicle kind selecting switch and detecting unit; a display unit(4) showing the fuel efficiency; a power unit supplying power to operate; and a reset unit(6). The vehicle kind selecting unit inputs and selects coefficients from the vehicle sensor according to the kind of the vehicle, the fuel injection valve, the air consumption amount sensor and the MAP sensor. The vehicle is traveled safely, and fuel consumption is reduced with restricting idling by displaying real time fuel consumption.
