The lifting gate for a motor vehicle load bed has a platform (3) movable between a lowered position (A) and a raised position. The platform has a lifting linkage mounted on a base (11) mounted on the vehicle. The linkage and base have engaging stops surfaces to allow the adjustment of the platform position with respect to the vehicle. The platform can be adjusted in three directions.
