PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with high reliability. SOLUTION: This lithium secondary battery 10 is formed by stacking in order a negative electrode current collector 2, a negative electrode active material layer 7, a separator 8, a positive electrode active material layer 6, and a positive electrode current collector 3. The negative electrode active material layer 7 contains alloy particles 7a of lithium and an alkaline earth metal. A molar ratio of the alkali earth metal is preferable to be 20%-50%, and the ratio of the alkaline earth metal to lithium is preferable to be relatively high on the insulating layer side and relatively low on the negative electrode current collector side. |
