PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the formation of an electrophotographic image by which an out-of-focus state is not caused even when many sheets of images are formed at high temperature and high humidity by using a transfer sheet containing talc. SOLUTION: In the method for image formation, a developer consisting of a toner and a carrier is supplied to a developer carrying member housing a magnet by a developer layer regulating member to form a magnetic brush, an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of a photoreceptor is developed by rubbing with the magnetic brush and the developed toner is transferred to a transfer paper containing talc to fix the image, while the toner not used for transfer, but remaining on the photoreceptor surface is cleaned and reused. In this method, the carrier is prepared by coating carrier cores having 40 to 100 μm volume average particle size expressed by a general formula (1) with a resin, and the carrying amount of the developer to the developing region is 60 to 150 mg/cm2. The formula (1) is (MnOm)a(Fe2O3)b. |
