PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber reinforcing cord in which the securing of elongation on low loading during vulcanization molding and the securing of high elasticity in a high elongation region of a molded article can be compatible with each other, and the adhesiveness between the rubber and the cord is excellent. SOLUTION: (1) In the rubber-reinforcing cord consisting of a twisted cord constituted with two or more kinds of yarns, the periphery of the core is covered with a yarn of polyketone expressed by (CH2CH2CO)m(CH2CH2(CH3)CO)n (wherein, m and n are each an integer) as winding yarn. (2) In the rubber reinforcing yarn, the core yarn has an elastic modulus of 18-54 cN/dtex. (3) In the rubber reinforcing yarn, a 9.8 N-load elongation at room temperature is >=3%, and the maximum elastic modulus in the region from 5% elongation to breaking elongation is 70-450 cN/dtex.
