<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device whose developing capacity is excellent because lateral line thinning and rear end void or the like are not caused in developing and by which carrier scattering is eliminated. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, the developing is performed by forming a magnetic brush Q on a developer carrier by a magnetic field formed by a magnetic field generating means and rubbing it on an image carrier, and the half width of a developing main pole is made narrow by providing an auxiliary magnetic pole to assist the magnetic force formation of the developing main pole by which the developer is napped in a developing area. When the circumferential speed of the developer carrier is set as vd and that of the image carrier is set as vp, its ratio vd/vp is set as <=25, and the maximum value of the magnetic flux density of the developing main pole is set as >=60 mT, and the saturation magnetization of carrier in the developer is set as >=35 emu/g.</p> |
