PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure capable of effectively damping vibration of an earthquake by a simple structure, maintaining absorbability of thermal expansion/contraction. SOLUTION: A plurality of plate spring materials (10) are arranged to be extended in the vertical direction, holding many round bar materials (20) extended in the horizontal direction among the plate spring materials (10), and support a member to be supported at an upper end part. The plate spring materials (10) and the round bar materials (20) are not fixed. The round bar materials (20) held by the plate spring materials (10) are arranged so as to be in close contact with each other and are not bound, but are fixed to common vertical connecting materials (30) at ends. The vertical connecting materials (30) are bound to horizontal connecting materials (40).
