PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method and a working device capable of conducting stable rolling treatment in a tape-like electrode having a coated region and a non-coated region of an electrode active material and conducting stable rolling treatment by suppressing the generation of distortion or warping. SOLUTION: The working method of an electrode sheet for a battery comprises a process for winding out the electrode sheet 1 for the battery formed by applying the electrode active material 1a to a current collector sheet except for one part from a winding out mechanism; a process for forming corrugations 1d by bending elongated parts by selective elastic deformation in a current collector sheet exposing region 1b of the wound out electrode sheet 1 for the battery; and a process for applying the rolling treatment to the electrode sheet 1 for the battery having the corrugations 1d while applying the required tension 6 and 7. |
