<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor module in which a current can be detected accurately regardless of the temperature of the semiconductor module. SOLUTION: The semiconductor module comprises a semiconductor switch element 4, a circulation diode element 5 having an anode electrode 7 formed on the surface and electrically connected in reverse parallel with the semiconductor switch element 4, an aluminum wire 12a for electrically connecting the semiconductor switch element 4 with the circulation diode element, and an aluminum wire 12b for electrically connecting the circulation diode element 5 with an external electrode 11 wherein a part of the anode electrode 7 of the circulation diode element 5 is used as a resistor 8 for detecting a main current flowing through the semiconductor switch element. The main current flowing through the semiconductor switch element is detected based on the potential difference across the current detection resistor 8.</p> |
