PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device adopting a mold frame with divided structure and the mold frame with the divided structure. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises a display unit 400 to display pictures, a backlight assembly 500 including a light source part to generate light, a light transmission plate to make the light incident and a condensing means to condense the light and the mold frame 600 to house the display unit 400 and the backlight assembly 500 capable of being separated into, and assembled from, a first frame 610 and a second frame 660. The first frame 610 houses the light transmission plate 520 and the condensing means 540 and the second frame 660 houses the light source part 510. A reflection sheet is integrally formed with the inside surface of the second frame 660 and has a function of a lamp reflector. Since a lamp cover is unnecessary, the number of components and the manufacturing cost are reduced. Furthermore, since the lamp is exchangeable by separating only the second frame 660, possibility of defect generation caused by contact in the case of lamp exchange is reduced. |
