FIRE RESISTANT PANEL WALL AND FIRE RESISTANT WALL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistant panel wall and a fire resistant wall structure which can be easily installed without impeding the thermal expansion of a thermally expansive fire-resistant material of the fire resistant panel wall thin and lightweight with excellent fire resistance. SOLUTION: This fire resistant panel wall is constituted by providing at least one face of a gypsum board with the thermally expansive fire-resistant material having a thickness of 0.1-4 mm, expanded by heating to form a fire- resistant heat-insulating layer and having volumetric expansion magnification of 3-30 after heated for thirty minutes under the heating condition of 50 kW/m2. The fire resistant wall structure is formed by mounting the fire resistant panel wall to studs or furring strips.
