PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding a type of a light source for an image. SOLUTION: This invention provides a method and a device for deciding a type of a light source for a digital image. This invention discloses a photo sensor (5) where a photo cell array detecting invisible light is integrated in a photo cell array detecting only visible light. By employing the invisible light photo cell together with the visible light photo cell, the type of a light source for a scene can be decided.
