PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase transformation ratio by employing a magnetic material of superior high-frequency characteristic for an annual stator and the like. SOLUTION: The rotation detector uses a material of superior high-frequency characteristic as a magnetic material, constituting the annual stator (1) thereof and an excitation signal with a frequency in the range of 20 kHz to a few hundreds of kHz, for increasing transformation ratio so that the characteristics of the rotation detector are improved.
