摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a return of a four-way valve during reduction of an operating frequency. SOLUTION: The discharge pressure or the suction pressure of a compressor is exerted on the four-way valve through the compressor to vary an operating frequency according to the magnitude of an air-conditioning load and a pressure supply mechanism. By utilizing a differential pressure, switching operation is effected, and during input of an ON-signal to the four-way valve, the four-way valve is held by the differential pressure after switching of the four-way valve and even after a stop of energization to the pressure feed mechanism through energization to a pressure feed mechanism for a given time, and the four-way valve is returned to an initial position as a result of the compressor stopping. An air conditioner with the so formed four-way valve is provided with a frequency comparing means to compare the operating frequency of the compressor with a given value, and a deciding means for an ON-signal to the four-way valve. A control device is provided to effect re-energization to the pressure feed mechanism when it is decided by the frequency comparing means that a frequency is below a given value and an ON-signal to the four-way valve is decided.
