PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone device which can use a sound source IC for a purpose other than incoming notification and be played as a musical instrument and is high in additional value for the portable telephone device user. SOLUTION: This portable telephone device has at least a key I/F part 3 which detects whether or not a key is being pressed and outputs data for a sound source part including pitch data on a sound assigned to the key during the depression of the key, the sound source IC 4 which outputs a sound output part drive signal according to the data for the sound source data outputted by the key I/F part 3 while receiving the sound source part data, and a speaker part 6 which outputs the signal generated by amplifying the sound output part drive signal outputted by the sound source part as a sound during while receiving the output part drive signal. |
