SOLUTION: In a discharge lamp bulb 1 equipped with an arc tube 2 in which a luminescent substance K is sealed by pinchedly sealing a glass tube G1 and which is provided with a luminescent part 201 structured so that discharge electrodes 6, 6 are disposed face to face, and a shroud glass tube 3 to seal the arc tube 2, the moisture percentage content or the pressure of gas sealed in a sealed space 2 formed by the arc tube 2 and the shroud glass tube 3 is regulated.
