PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast unit that uses a broadcast program so as to act as if to interactively conduct communication in two ways and to provide its receiver, a digital broadcast system, and a recording medium with a program for the receiver recorded thereon. SOLUTION: A contents storage section 5102 of the digital broadcast unit 5101 stores a plurality of contents that include moving picture data and control information denoting other contents being a link destination of the contents of the moving picture data. A data multiplexer section 5103 repetitively multiplexes the control information included in the same contents of moving picture data with the moving picture data, and a transmission section 5106 transmits the moving picture data with which the control information is multiplexed. The receiver 5121 receives and reproduces the contents while selecting them interactively.
