PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver by which a surround-sound can be enjoyed and right sound image localization can be obtained without using another device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means for encoding L(left), R(right), C(center) and S(surround) signals of an acoustic reproducing device 1, forming two-channel audio signals Lt and Rt and decoding the two-channel audio signals Lt and Rt audio signals L, R, C and S, a means for connecting the decoded C signal through an amplifier 7 to a speaker 10 for C, a means for forming two-channel audio signals Ls and Rs from the decoded L, R and S signals by a sound image localization preparing means 5 having a head transmission function adding means 3, and adder/subtracter and a phase shifter 4, and a means for connecting the two-channel audio signals Ls and Rs through amplifiers 6 and 8 to respective speakers 9 and 11 for L and R. |
