PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump facility equipped with an automatic strainer capable of operating a pump with no trouble without treating foreign matters and without installing a refuse conveying facility, a storage facility, and an incineration facility having a low availability factor. SOLUTION: The automatic strainer 10 automatically collecting and removing the foreign matters D flowing in a channel is installed on the upstream side of the pump facility 1 installed on the channel. The foreign matters D collected by the automatic strainer 10 are discharged on the water surface other than the upstream side of the pump facility 1. The surface other than the installation face of the automatic strainer 10 of the pump facility 1 is covered with foreign matter intrusion preventing members such as fixed screens 20, 21, 22.
