PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction sintered body by safening and reuse of asbestos from a harmful asbestos-containing building material and inorganic waste material. SOLUTION: The reaction sintered body is obtained by pulverizing and mixing the asbestos-containing building material and inorganic waste material, allowing the mixture to react at 700 to 1500 deg.C and sintering so as to safen and reuse the asbestos.
