PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for a food packaging bag and a food packaging bag using the sheet from which food packaged can be easily taken out without enlarging the width of a holding piece. SOLUTION: This relates to a sheet for a food packaging bag comprising a sheet main body for packaging food and a holding piece formed in the main body by a notch. By pulling the holding piece, a cutout is formed and is extended for opening and tearing the main body. The main body has a width enlarging part where the width of the cutout is enlarged as the cutout is elongated.
