PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safer and sharper finish for a kitchen knife by using a polishing plate for finish after using a household kitchen knife sharpener on the market. SOLUTION: On the surface of a rubber plate 1 of 23 cm high, 28 cm wide, and 5 mm thick, a #600 water-resistant sandpaper 2 of the same sizes as the rubber plate 1 is applied using a double-faced tape 3. The double-faced tape 3 is used, with adhesive agent of strong adhesion strength toward the back surface of the water-resistant sandpaper 2, and adhesive agent of weak adhesion strength toward the surface of the rubber plate 1, to let the water-resistant sandpaper 2 applied flat in such a way that the sandpaper 2 can be replaced after usage for a few times. After a kitchen knife is sharpened on a household kitchen knife sharpener on the market, the blade of the knife is diagonally applied to the sandpaper 2, it is rubbed for 3-5 times leftward, and the other surface of the knife is then rubbed for 3-5 times rightward, thereby the knife is finished sharp. |
