PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition and a rubber composition in view of the fact that, at present, part of resin products and rubber products have been mixed into burnable trash and incinerated at incineration sites; these products often contain chlorine, therefore toxic components including hydrogen chloride gas and dioxins generated when these products are incinerated have been problematic. SOLUTION: This resin composition or rubber composition is obtained by including calcium silicate and zeolites such as artificial zeolite, allophane, imogolite, zeolite A, zeolite P, zeolite X and zeolite Y. The resin composition or rubber composition thus obtained affords a means for removing toxic components in smoke emitted when resin products or rubber products made from the above resin composition or rubber composition respectively are incinerated.
