STRUCTURE OF TERMINAL PORTION OF ROOF SIDE WEATHER STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a rear terminal portion of a front roof side weather strip and the accuracy of its mounting position. SOLUTION: An approximate-triangle mounting flange portion 18 is protruded from the rear terminal portion 5a of the front roof side weather strip 5 to be arranged at the roof side of a front roof portion. A core metal 20 is embedded in the rear terminal portion 5a including the mounting flange portion 18 in such a manner that its end 20a ranges to an aslant abutted face 7, producing an increase in rigidity. The rear terminal portion 5a is screwed and fixed to the rear end of the front roof portion in a finely adjustable manner with three mounting screws 22 while using the mounting flange portion 18 as a fixed point.
