PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning cartridge whose removal performance of trihalomethanes is high because of the use of fine cubic filter media, and which gives a constant water quantity safe and tasty water since the filter media do not clog on a partitioning part of the cartridge. SOLUTION: The water cleaning cartridge 1 is provided with a filter room 3 provided with an opening part for inflow of water or outflow on the outer peripheral wall, a support frame 5 provided in the filter room 3, and a sheet consisting of either one or more kind fibers twisted, sewed, adhered or fused the fibers laminated on the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface of the support frame 5 or the filter room 3.
