PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ultraviolet-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive which is excellent in hot-melt applicability, can be cured even with a small dose of ultraviolet rays, and gives a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, or the like, excellent in pressure-sensitive adhesive characteristics such as pressure-sensitive adhesiveness, holding power, and tackiness, and to prepare a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet prepared by using the adhesive. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive contains an acrylic polymer which has a wt. average mol.wt. of 80,000-350,000 and is prepared by the polymerization of a monomer mixture comprising (a) 1-15 mass%α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, (b) 0.01-5 mass% (meth)acrylic ester represented by formula (I), and (c) 80-99.99 mass% other copolymerizable component.
