PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a fishing gear by separately forming a protective case for storing the fishing gear to be protected, and having an air chamber, in the case body for fishing. SOLUTION: A case body 1 for fishing has a cylindrical part 1a, swelling parts 1b and 1c at both the side surfaces and a longitudinal belt-like part 1d composed of a cloth or a woven fabric of a fiber of a nylon, a polyvinyl chloride, a polypropylene or the like and formed into an oblong bag shape, and a hard cylinder with a bottom fixed to the bottom part. Velvet-type hook-and- loop fasteners 18 and 19 are fixed to the swelling part 1b at the inner part of the case body 1 for the fishing, and the longitudinal belt-like part 1d, and the velvet-type hook-and-loop fasteners 20 and 21 are fixed to a protective case 3 so that the protective case 3 may be detachable. The protective case 3 is formed out of a material having flexibility and air-tightness, such as a polyvinyl chloride and a polyurethane, and an air chamberαis formed between an outer shape-forming material 3' and an inner shape-forming material 3". The centers of a plurality of strings 22 for tightening a fishing rod 4 are fixed to the interior of the protective case 3.
